We don't have to remind you that video content is the future of social media marketing, the proof is in 8 million videos being shared each day on Facebook alone.
Thanks to Canva's new animation features, even non-designers can create animated graphics and videos to use on social media.
While they warn you within the application that these features are "experimental" Let's Talk is already implementing them in our client's social media strategies (and our own).
There are currently 6 animation styles which can be accessed through the file type dropdown menu by selecting "Animated GIF/Movie (Experimental)"
When you have several designs in one file they will act like presentation slides. You can save these animations as either .gif or .mp4 and you can upload your animations to other social media platforms or websites!
The possibilities are plenty: YouTube video intros, animated logos for your website, even short animated videos for you to use on Instagram!
Canva Animations allow you to stand out in your Instagram feed or grab attention in a newsletter.
The best part is they're likely to add additional features once they get these sorted out.
